"Ah, the Summer of Youth"

Kidd Field, adjacent to UTEP's Sun Bowl Stadium, is the grounds for the University's track and field meets. Named after the Texas College of Mines and Metallurgy professor John W. Kidd, the facility was originally the campus' football field when it was built in 1938.
