Improvisational music means one thing its "Jazz". And this non-profit organization brings this unique art form to more than 25,000 New Mexicans every year. With at least 40 concerts on their performance schedule last year, the group plays salsa, blues, jazz and Latin jazz to the obvious delight of its audiences. They also invite respected names in the jazz world to come to Albuquerque and perform. The highlight of the season is the annual Concert Under the Stars, staged at the Albuquerque Museum Sculpture Garden. This is a volunteer member organization. Office hours vary. A part of the busy downtown of Albuquerque, the Orpheum Arts Space is an intimate space hosting a myriad of events. While the usual musical and theater performances are presented here, the venue is also ideal for activity training sessions, allowing close interaction. Yoga, belly-dancing, art classes, movie screenings and fund-raising events are held here as well.
Opened in the year 2000, Jewish Community Center of Greater Albuquerque is a great place to visit for Jews in the area. This facility features a fitness center, swimming pool, an outdoor play area for children, basketball court and more. They offers several workshops and classes in areas like yoga, art and language. In addition to this, they also host various cultural events and summer camps.

Not too far from the pleasant buzz of Albuquerque, the wan-colored frame of the majestic Sandia Mountains unfolds across the New Mexican landscape. Protectively corralled by the Cibola National Forest and arising from the Rio Grande basin, these mountains promise an exciting visual interplay from dawn to dusk.
