Named after the legendary rocket scientist, NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center is open to the public through their visitor center. The center was founded in 1959 and is NASA's flagship space flight complex. Only scheduled tours are available and families or small groups visiting the visitor center to see the exhibits and rocket garden can do so during normal hours without any reservations. The registered tours comprises of operation areas, testing and satellite building sites.
