Ken Oringer is at the helm of Coppa and he is one of Boston's best loved fine dining chefs, with Toro and Clio also under his belt. This quaint little rustic restaurant, with its incredible selection of wines and mixed drinks, is a pleasant contrast to many of the sleek uptown restaurants that it shares a berth with. The food puts unexpected twists on classic Italian cuisine, such as the famed carbonara with sea urchin - not for the culinary faint-of-heart. More traditional dishes abound, from gnocchi with pork ragu, sage and pecorino to the perfectly wood-fired pizza.


Deuxave is an upscale restaurant with a chic decor that is inspired by the Bostonian style. The fireplace in the dining section adds to the beauty of the space. The menu features French cuisine which is blended with American flavors, creating contemporary culinary bliss. Enjoy an array of appetizer choices, main courses and sides that can be paired with their wine. The bar has a huge wine list of 420 bottles out of which a few can be ordered by the glass. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made online.


Menton is one of Boston's best luxury Italian dining experiences. Beauty is everywhere, from the elegant setting to the artisan glassware to the impeccable service. Diners can choose between the prix-fixe menu or choose a la carte - exquisite offerings include the torchon of foie gras de canard and the butter-poached lobster with dill sauce. There is a fantastic selection of wines available, with extremely knowledgeable staff to ensure that you make the right choice. And don't forget dessert! The desserts are the perfect cap to any meal; if you want something lighter, a tremendous variety of dessert wines are ready to be poured. Reservations are highly recommended.

Dali Restaurant and Tapas Bar

Dali Restaurant and Tapas Bar features a wide selection of tapas both cold and hot including poached octopus, grilled pheasant, paella, bacon wrapped prunes, tuna-stuffed squid and much more. There are also some simplified, yet delicious dishes especially for the unadventurous types such as the short ribs or lamb meatballs. The ornate decor replete with warm colors is adorned with vintage Spanish artworks, old photos, charming trinkets and soft lighting gives it a romantic ambience. The vivacious Barcelona environment of Dali and the delicious tapas platter along with the Sangria makes it a must visit eatery.

Bistro du Midi

Bistro du Midi prides itself on exquisite Provençal cuisine. Chef Robert Sisca is the culinary force behind the ingredient-driven menu that lends a contemporary spin to authentic flavors from southeastern France. Subject to season, produce is locally sourced. Start off with artisan cheeses and charcuterie, and raw servings of oysters and tuna tartare tartine. Let oenophile Olivier Flosse fix you with fine regional wine from the impressive glass-enclosed cellar. Overlooking the historic Boston Public Garden, this place is one of the best French restaurants in town.
