Atlantic Fish Company on Boylston Street has earned first place at the city's annual Chowderfest. The atmosphere is casual and the bar is lively. Once little more than a hole-in-the wall, it is now an upscale space with warm wood trim and intimate booths. Choose from a variety of seafood entrees that are fresh and well-prepared. Fried clams, an overflowing lobster roll and blackened salmon are the seafood favorites at the Atlantic Fish Company. Chicken and steak are also available for the land lovers, however vegetarian options are sparse.
No.9 Park, located in the shadow of the State House, has become one of Boston's hottest eateries since its opening in 1998. The dark and cool interior has cherry wood and indigo walls for a modern, elegant feel. The menu blends European influences and New England ingredients. Appetizers include Salade de Petite Courgett and Terrine of Foie Gras. Roasted Beef Ribeye is equally amazing. Desserts are superb. B&G does oysters right. With a dozen varieties on offer every night, and a wine list constructed chiefly to complement them, it is clear what the star of the show is here. That said, diners too squeamish to slurp down the slimy little bivalves won't go unfed either, thanks to a lengthy menu of inspired New England seafood specialties. Play it safe with seafood stew, or have a little fun with the Lobster B.L.T. Daily specials usually include the freshest fish hot off the grill. The desserts are divine and the atmosphere, whether you dine at a table or belly up to the bar, is at once sophisticated and relaxed.

As you enter the beautifully decorated Oleana you will notice the wooden decor, mosaic-tile tabletops and beautiful heating lamps that create a warm atmosphere. The place is very welcoming and the ambiance is just perfect for a romantic dinner. The menu sports Mediterranean-style dishes that are specially created by chef-owner Ana Sortun.
