Emery & Cie is a paint that can be described as acrylic casein paint, casein being a protein substance that can be found in milk. The paint looks matt, dries quickly and is odourless. In addition, it can be used on any material: plaster, bricks, cement, wood, carton, paper, cloth and glass. In the display window they claim you can paint 7-9m² with 1kg paint. There is a wide range of colour samples; the shop's intention is to allow you to take a look at their entire collection. You can ask for advice if unsure of a specific colour combination.
Located in Place du Jeu de Balle, this age-old flea market strives with an aim to promote the cultural heritage and the architectural buildings in the locality. Managed by the Brussels Municipality, Marcheaux Puces de Bruxelles has more than five hundred stalls and stores, all selling items from estate-sale gems and antiques to vintage clothings and paintings- there is nothing you won't find here. Bookworms will be pleased to know that the vast array of second-hand books consist of some forgotten best-sellers, which of course some very cheap. All these, at a price comparatively lower than other flea markets. A must-visit for those like to get their money's worth and love flea bargains!
