Grendel's Den is one of the best deals in the neighborhood. With a solid selection of beers and basic menu, Grendel's was made for happy hour: half-price food between Monday to Wednesday 5 to 7:30pm or Thursday to Sunday 9-11:30pm . For a splurge, try their dark ‘n stormy: ginger beer + serious rum. Even better—they have hard cider on tap. The food? Unremarkable, but definitely good enough to return. In nice weather, aim for the patio, but be aware the half-price deal is only available inside.
The Red House gets its name from the red cottage that houses the restaurant. Built in 1802, this cottage has comfortable settings; the wooden furnishings and beige and red décor will enhance your dining experience. Kill your hunger pangs with items, such as lobster risotto, grilled tenderloin of beef and breadless chicken club sandwich. And wash it all down with your choice of wine – Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and much more.

Set in the downstairs level of a mall-like building, this restaurant offers Japanese and Korean food and good service. The clean interior features shiny hardwood floors and a seating arrangement that gets a little cramped in the corners. There are nine sushi dinners, all of which are accompanied by miso soup. An a la carte sushi menu allows you to mix and match. The menu includes red meat, poultry, fish and vegetarian entrees. Try the Yaki Niku (marinated, charbroiled beef) or seafood soba. The restaurant serves beer, wine and saki.
