Grumpy's Café, located in Tremont, is a neighborhood breakfast-to-dinner diner, serving American food with a southwestern tinge. The southwestern influence can be seen in appetizers like the Texas Caviar, bean salad in honey and cumin vinaigrette, or Jamabalaya. More traditional American fare includes New York Strip Steak or Garlic Chicken & Broccoli Pasta. Vegetarians can enjoy a Grilled Vegetable Wrap or a Stir Fry It Up!, with vegetables in ginger sauce. Breakfast includes options like Eggs Benedict or Potato Pancakes topped with apples, or several different omelet choices like Mexican with chorizo, onions, peppers and salsa. Grumpy's does not have a bar, but it is BYOB.

Focusing on these local, organic foods connects Fire to an international movement called "Slow Food" which encourages meals based generally around the ingredients and traditions of the regions where the food comes from. Fire's cuisine is generally American, with an Italian tinge, such as a pizza with prosciutto, sun-dried tomato pesto, goat cheese, and arugala. Dinner entrées include Tandoor Roasted Organic Pork Chop, Sauteed Sea Scallops, and a vegetarian Cannelloni with eggplant, ricotta, and more. Fire offers a Sunday brunch, and also has a patio available. There is a full bar and varied wine list.
