Operating since 1978, Art Heritage Gallery was set by Mr. and Mrs. Alkazi. Ever since its establishment, this art gallery has been promoting young and upcoming artists to showcase their talents. The gallery boasts of having more than 150 art exhibitions and has had artists like M. F. Hussain, Tanoy Chowdhary, Pablo Bartholomew, Archana Shastri exhibiting their artworks. All in all, this is a must-visit for all the art aficionados in the city.
Located in a building which once belonged to the Maharajahs of Jaipur, the NGMA has a setting that is ideal for showcasing the best of Indian artwork. This includes beautiful sculptures by some of the country's best known artists; displayed cleverly in the surrounding gardens. There are also paintings from the 19th and 20th Centuries, with works from artists, such as Rabindranath Tagore, Jamini Roy, Raja Ravi Varma and Amrita Sher Gill. Operating since 2001, Art Alive Gallery has gained popularity for its collection of contemporary art pieces. The gallery was started by artist and art connoisseur Sunaina Anand and has been a hub for all the art aficionados. Known for hosting solo exhibitions, Art Alive Gallery has been a host to popular artists like Veer Munshi, Jogen Chowdhary, Nayanna Kanodia and others. Besides the art festivals and art fairs that the gallery hosts regularly, Art Alive Gallery has been a venue for poetry sessions and one-one discussions with artists.
