Le Marché de Bailly ("the market of Bailly") is a popular outdoor market that takes place at every Sunday. It used to be right in the Place de l'Europe, but moved to its new location in April 2011 in front of the Carrefour store. The new location provides ample parking and more choices of things to do. Booths sell wonderful local delicacies so don't miss out on this cultural experience.
Located in the Disney Village in Marne-la-Vallee, the Disney Store is one of the biggest stores in France. The range of toys is spellbinding, with adorably decorated interiors. The collection consists of finely manufactured toys that appeal to both adults and kids, although the price range may be considered a tad steep by some. The staff is extremely helpful and will help you look for your favorite toy in the sprawling store. Pick your favorite Mickey, or build your own saber. Even if you do not purchase anything, a visit to the store will certainly put a spring in your step.
Founded in 1895 by Monsieur Alis, this fromagerie offers visitors a glimpse into the intensive and time honored brie making process. There is a video-tour and a museum where you will learn about the different economies that are linked by the manufacture of brie cheese. Of course, a visit here would not be complete without an extensive brie tasting that will overwhelm your taste buds with these exceptional cheeses. Upon leaving, you will understand why their motto is "Le Meilleur des Fromages- LE BRIE" (The Best of Cheeses- BRIE).
