Ubicado en la ciudad de Claremont, el Museo de Arte de Pomona es un museo escuela en el que se exhiben las obras de los alumnos de la universidad privada de artes liberales, así como también los trabajos de artistas establecidos. Las exposiciones son totalmente eclécticas; en el pasado se presentaron exposiciones sobre botellas de rapé chinas, de dibujos con esténcil, de escultura y de pinturas hechas por el escritor, compositor y exalumno de Pomona John Cage. No es necesario aclarar que el mix de medios es verdaderamente impresionante. Además, el espacio James Turrell Skyspace es una maravilla arquitectónica que se enfoca en la naturaleza y la transmisión de la luz. Los programas de iluminación de la sala van de la mano con la salida y la puesta del sol con el fin de amplificar el color de la sala.

A popular attraction in the city, Riverside Art Museum is well known for its displays and exhibitions as it is for the building it is housed in. The combination of Classical and Mediterranean architecture is truly impressive, and the 1929 building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. As for the museum itself, it hosts many traveling exhibitions every year, and also organizes educational programs.
