Northwest Museum of Art & Culture showcases a diverse selection of art from around the world. A trip to the museum is not complete without visiting the Campbell House, the entrance fee of which is included in the price of the Museum's admission. The 1898 house shows how life was led in the 20th Century. The Northwest Museum of Art & Culture is in a contemporary building and features local history, fine art and collections from various cultures.
Spokane architect Kirtland K. Cutter created the beautiful Campbell House in 1898. The stunning house was created with an English style and included a two story main house, a service wing and a carriage house. There are several tours available, including tours explaining the lives of the people who lived there and functional tours showing how items in the house worked.
Spokane Valley Heritage Museum features exhibits which showcase local history. The museum is located in the historic Opportunity Township Hall, which was built in 1912 and used as a government building and community center. You can enjoy artifacts, photographs and there is even an exhibit featuring a Vintage Texaco Gas Station.
