Located right in Dallas' Design District is this small craft brewery. Peticolas Brewing Company's products can be found in bars around Dallas, but the best way to taste them is right from the source. On the first and third Saturdays of every month, show up with some cash for a tour and receive a Peticolas pint glass and three wooden nickel tokens to redeems for beers at the end of the tour. Experienced and knowledgeable brewery staff guide you on a short but informative tour about the brewing process, then in the end try one of their distinctive beers like Great Scott, Velvet Hammer or Royal Scandal, among others.

Based in a spacious setting with brick exposed walls and dim lighting, it’s easy to relax as soon as you step in through the door of this Deep Ellum Bar. The bar menu includes a dizzying array of spirits from canned, bottled and drought beers to whiskeys, wines, brandy and handcrafted cocktails. With so much to choose from, you are sure to find something that you like. However, everyone seems to swear by Bonnie and Clyde and Vulgar Display of Sour. If you begin to get hungry, dig into Chicken Paprikas, Charred Pulpo, No Reggie or the Damn Burger. They also have the option of shared plates in case you don’t have a big appetite. The relaxed atmosphere at Armour D.E. makes it an ideal place whether you want to lay back and unwind or converse with a group of friends, leaving no surprises as to why it’s so popular.
