Counted as one of the prime attractions of Eugene, Spencer Butte is nestled on the city's southern end. The lofty mountain stands tall at 2058 feet (627 meters) above the sea level, and can be accessed from the sprawling Spencer Butte Park. The park is home to a number of well-marked hiking and climbing trails that take one up the mountain's peak. The trails cater to those looking for mildly challenging to extremely rigorous conditions.
