The Ridgefield Community Center is also famously referred as the Phineas Chapman Lounsbury House or the Grovelawn. The construction of the house dates back to 1895 and it superbly exemplifies the Classical Revival style of architecture. This center is also available for private events and functions. Established as the New Castle Methodist Episcopal Church in 1868, this edifice is one of the oldest places of worship in the city. The striking church building was constructed in the Carpenter Gothic style and is one of the finest historical buildings in the city. The historic parsonage is another striking feature of this church. The congregation, now known as the United Methodist Church of Mount Kisco, actively engages with the community through its ministries and events throughout the year.
