Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

One of the most spectacular wildlife sanctuaries of the country, the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a heritage zoological garden. Home to a diverse variety of fauna and flora, the sanctuary allows visitors to experience Australian wildlife closely. Opened initially as a bird sanctuary, the park's major highlight remains the Rainbow Lorikeet feeding where flocks of these vibrant birds are fed by the visitors. It also houses one of the largest walk-through aviaries of Southern Hemisphere where visitors can see birds soaring freely. The sanctuary also houses lemurs, red pandas, kangaroos and saltwater crocodiles. The park's attractions like mini-train rides and bird feeding have made it a popular tourist destination.

Surfers Paradise Beach
