The Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche fell victim to the city fire of 1689. Today, only the old foundations of the previous Gothic building from the 13th century can still be examined in the choir. The present church building was built in the style pertaining to the Vorarlberg construction school. The tower of the church is stunning.
