Located in close proximity to the lighthouse is the striking sculpture of a lion, popularly termed the 'Bavarian Lion'. Rappenlochschlucht

A ravine steeped in history, Rappenlochschlucht is one of the larges gorges in the continent. It can be accessed easily via a cable car that reaches the top. The ride in the cable car is also an unforgettable experience. At the summit, there is a small restaurant that offers refreshments to the guests.

Kloster Weißenau

An old monastery that was founded in the 12th Century, Kloster Weißenau is a significant structure in Ravensburg. The monastery was dissolved post secularization but the buildings are well preserved. The abbey church of Saint Peter and Paul is a noteworthy building dating back to the 18th Century. The ballroom of the convent is used for local concerts and can seat up to 300 people. The Zentrum für Psychiatrie Weißenau is housed in one of the monastery buildings.
