Lindau Lighthouse dates back to 1853 and is a marvelous lighthouse located on Lake Constance. It has spectacular architecture and is open to public. Nestled right in the heart of Kressbronn am Bodensee, Maria Hilfe der Christen is amongst the town’s main churches. Built between 1936 and 1937, one of the notable features here are the handles of the door which are decorated with Evangelical symbols.
An old monastery that was founded in the 12th Century, Kloster Weißenau is a significant structure in Ravensburg. The monastery was dissolved post secularization but the buildings are well preserved. The abbey church of Saint Peter and Paul is a noteworthy building dating back to the 18th Century. The ballroom of the convent is used for local concerts and can seat up to 300 people. The Zentrum für Psychiatrie Weißenau is housed in one of the monastery buildings.
