This award-winning winery is set on the slopes of the Grizzly Peak Mountain and offers visitors a beautiful location combined with some exceptional fine wines. Their wines are distilled from grapes grown in their very own vineyards and some of the favorites include the Pinot Gris, the Tempranillo, and the Syrah. Their wines are highly acclaimed and have won numerous accolades over the years. Originally an eight-acre (3.2-hectare) green landscape back in 1892, Lithia Park is now one of the largest in Ashland. It gets its name from the excessive lithium concentration discovered in the spring waters in 1907. Sprawling across 93 acres (38 hectares), it features two duck ponds, several picnic areas, miles of hiking trails, a bandshell for musical performances, and a winter ice skating rink. It is open to public from Monday to Friday between 8:00a and 5:00p.
ScienceWorks has bewitched kids and successfully infused in them the thirst for scientific knowledge with the interactive displays and science shows.
