The green in Milford, located just outside of New Haven, is a popular meeting space and event venue conveniently located off of I-95. This traditional New England-style green has a bandstand, Civil War monument and special events throughout the year.
The renowned Eells-Stow House is a monumental house situated in the Milford region of Connecticut. It was supposedly constructed somewhere around 1720, and is named after the Eells family that stayed here. Currently managed by the Milford Historical Society, it was incorporated in the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
The Eisenhower Park is a public park located in the city of Milford and is a good place to go if you wish to take refuge from the busy city life. It also a dedicated space for children such as a lovely play ground with all sorts of play equipment. There are walking trails for those like long strolls, dog runs for your four-legged friends, and a small pond which is the perfect setting to enjoy a small picnic during a hot summer day.
