The Brant Point Inn is unique in that it was built in 1986, which by Nantucket standards is yesterday. As to be expected, modern amenities such as televisions, phones, and refrigerators are available. However, with its wide pine floors, post and beam construction and comfortable furnishings, the Brant Point retains the feel of a country inn. Guests can walk from the Inn to the historic district, beaches, and harbor front, all within a few minutes. Innkeeper Thea Kaizen, a Nantucket native, and husband Peter, are happy to point the way.
Innkeepers Cyril and Judy Ross are experienced to the core. Cyril grew up in Easton House and represents the third generation of his family to operate the Inn. The house, built in 1812, is located on a cobblestone street close to the harbor. Rooms throughout the home and adjacent garden cottage, which sleeps two, are decorated with romantic overtones and indeed the private cottage is a favorite among honeymooners. During the summer months, guests are likely to be drawn to the flower-filled private country garden. See the website for rates and seasonal information.
