If you are on the Lido and don't want to eat pizza, you could go to the very end of San Nicolò where you find this trattoria. This is a very prized trattoria and a lot of tourists come here in the Summer. Venetians looking for something different also come here. It's not really a typical Venetian tavern, but an excellent country-style trattoria. It is quite big, with several dining rooms. The service is very good, and the staff are welcoming. The cuisine is very traditional and is mainly fish-based. The fish is excellent and very fresh. You should try the spaghetti alla marinara (spaghetti with seafood), the fish risotto, and the mixed grilled fish as your second course. The desserts are also good. The wine is up to the food's standard, and there are both national and local vintages available.
