Champvent Castle is a spectacular edifice situated near the fringes of the village of Champvent, which is a part of the Swiss canton of Vaud. It is nestled on the top of a hill - a solitary structure surrounded by dense vegetation and the rolling countryside of Champvent. This medieval fortress has existed since 13th Century, and once belonged to Lord Champvent. It stands out with its four dun squires and pearl-gray walls. At present, it is privately owned.

Dating back to the early 18th Century, Vullierens Castle is an idyllically located mansion in the village of Vullierens. Still inhabited by a direct descendant of the lords of the castle, it is surrounded by a huge garden which stays in bloom all year round. Between May and July blooming iris, roses, lavender, peonies, day lilies, perennials, wildflowers and Pea dominate the region, while in September there are fuchsias, multiple flowering iris, asters, ornamental plants, roses and sedum. From the Gothic church of the village one can enjoy a breathtaking view over the roofs of the village, the lake and the Alps
