In this old garden village, Jacques and Agneta van Marken ran the yeast and spirit factory. This couple is way ahead of their time. Here the guide can tell endlessly about life in this park and about the Van Marken couple. Next stop: The Hofje van Pauw is a hidden gem. From the legacy of Elisabeth Pauw, eight houses were built here in 1707 for the less wealthy residents of Delft. Another showpiece in the Delft streetscape is without a doubt the Oostpoort. The tour follows architecture icons like Central Station, Theater square and the Lijnbaan post war area. We present The Museum Quarter with the new rising icon – The Depot of Museum Boijmans. On the route there is a series of art dedicated to the drama of the bombarded city, a fresh mix of street art, a spread of art masterpieces whose artists names speak for themselves: Henry Moore, Roden, Picasso.
