A venue that is buzzing with events all year round, the Helotes Festival Grounds host a range of entertaining events. Located in downtown Helotes, the festival grounds is managed by the Helotes Festival Association, and is best known for the annual Cornyval festival. Located about 16 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio, this is one of many area churches honoring the patroness of the Americans, the Virgin of Guadalupe. This church reflects the area's Hispanic heritage with its beamed ceiling, its walls of native stone and its Saltillo tile floors. It is charming and peaceful, with windows behind the altar looking out over the wooded banks of the creek bed. The Blessed Sacrament chapel is small and intimate, with native limestone walls and rustic pews that reflect the frontier nature of the town.

Located outside Helotes, Josabi's in a place over 7 acres of land for live music and cultural events. There are around three buildings in the area and two bars, parking is free. Events of different nature like weddings, photo shoots or parties take place here. They do not have an in-house catering service but they can provide the alcohol. For an event it is advisable one brings staff and other facilties required as they provide for few such as lighting or the space itself.
