Established in 2011, The Costume Shop is an intimate, experimental theater committed to new plays. A part of the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T), it is located in the center of the vibrant Central Market arts neighborhood and is near the Civic Center. This eclectic venue offers an interesting list of performances from A.C.T's productions and local theater companies. It is also available on rent for shows and special events. Visit this place if you have an interest in black box theater.

The African American Art and Culture Complex in San Francisco is a great place to learn and appreciate the history, culture and art of African Americans. The complex has an art gallery that has been host to various art exhibitions by Afro-American artists. There Buriel Clay Theater on the first floor of the complex holds various plays, concerts and dance performances.

The tables at the venue are made of gate doors originating in China, as old as 3 centuries !. This event venue is located just couple of blocks away from Civic BART station. Parking space is ample and the venue can accommodate 200 people standing or 52 people seated inside the front room.
