Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) is the pride of Seattle. This museum houses approximately 4 million displays narrating the detailed local history of the city. Visitors can engage with exhibits such as Maritime Seattle, telling the story of ships and planes, including the 1919 Boeing B-1, Boeing's oldest planes for commercial use. Numerous seminars, workshops and lectures are conducted for various age groups, thus playing a vital role in educating the general public on world history. Charles and Emma Frye arrived in Seattle in 1888. Throughout a 25-year period, they amassed an unrivaled collection (eventually more than 230 pieces) of fine art painted by both American and European artists, mostly from the 19th and 20th Centuries. A trust in Charles Frye's will made provisions for a free public art museum, and today anyone can view the collection at no charge. Located on First Hill, the Frye Art Museum also includes the Gallery Cafe. Free parking is also available across from the main entrance.

Located on Corson Avenue in Georgetown, the Connections Museum is a famous historic building. Earlier known as Herbert H. Warrick Jr. Museum of Communications, this place houses some beautiful and antique equipment radio and telephones and related equipment. It is a great place to gain a little knowledge about how phones were and radios were invented how they evolved over the course of time. In house personnel daily conduct tours of the museum.
Suquamish Museum pays tribute to the tribal culture of the city and is the second museum of the state dedicated to the Suqamish tribal life. The property has log house structures and has a collection of about 496 archaeological artifacts. Showcasing the tribal culture since the 1860s, the museum has photographs of the tribal community, smoking pipes, ornaments, wooden handicrafts and documented history of the voyages and expeditions of the tribe. Visit the museum to enjoy a ride back in time and learn some interesting facts about the community.
