Since its inception, the sole purpose of this temple has been to help and guide the community towards the path of peace and harmony, through the art of Zen culture. Several workshops, activities and speeches are also held here, that provide a birds eye view on the Zen way of life.
Founded in the year 2013, the Rolling Bay Hall is a truly versatile and multifunctional facility that sits in the heart of Bainbridge Island. An extremely popular performance space, the Rolling Bay Hall offers a black bo theater experience. While the theater is generally graced by a roster of talented on-site artists such as Spacecraft, The Island Music Guild, Essential Sound Audio, and SEO Bandwagon, it also welcomes private rentals.
Issaquah Valley Trolley is a 1925 vintage streetcar that runs from the Issaquah Depot Museum to Gilman Boulevard, a fun attraction for kids. The trolley takes you on a round trip measuring 1.9 kilometers (1.2 miles) that are covered in about 20 minutes. There's a trip every half hour, between 11a to 3p on the weekends. The trolley has a seating capacity of 24 and during the journey, you will get a sense of how rail travel felt back in the old days as well as learn more about Issaquah history
