The First Presbyterian Church in downtown St. Petersburg is a devoted community church steadfast in its commitment to Jesus Christ. The church has several on-going programs for children and adults including Sunday school, Bible studies and more. The church has regular Sunday worship which is well attended and is also an ideal venue for weddings.

Since 1984, the Brad Cooper Gallery has provided an ongoing array of unique and expressive works. At its Ybor gallery, artists from around the US and abroad exhibit their creative pieces. The gallery focuses on contemporary art by established artists as well as emerging artists. The gallery features paintings using several mediums including oil on linen, wood, and canvas, acrylic on paper, silver print, and mixed media. There are featured solo exhibits throughout the year. The Bing Rooming House was initially built for the African-American people who were discriminated on at restaurants and hotels. It is located at 205 South Allen Street in Plant City, Florida. It was named after Mrs. Janie Wheeler Bing. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on September 14, 2002.

Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church was established in 1894, and was one of the earliest places of worship for the African community in the city. Originally known as the Hope Henry A.M.E. Church or simply the A.M.E. Church, it took its present name after the church building was reconstructed in 1926, following a devastating storm. Located among crowded streets of Elfers, the Baker House or the Samuel Baker House is one of the historic structures that you will come across while in the city. The house was built in the year 1882, for the owner and his family, Samuel Baker himself. Today the house has been extensively restored and open to the public as a museum where visitors can come and view the lifestyle of people from the mid 20th Century.

A visit to The Blueberry Patch will feel like a family party in your uncle's garden! Actually in the backyard of a huge home, when the lights come on at sundown, this place looks like something out of a fairytale. Small, colorful lights and shinny decor on hanging tree branches make you feel like an elf under a Christmas tree! The band members and the staff here are all dressed in psychedelic colors, adding to the festive atmosphere. Hidden away, this is one of the state's oldest escapes for artists, poets and musicians. This is where like-minded people come together to share and socialize, a concept termed "shareviving" here. The concept of this place stemmed from owner Dallas Bohrer's love for art and artists, and his desire to encourage sharing.
