Moldeados por los elementos durante miles de millones de años, los acantilados de Scarborough, o "Scarborough Bluffs" como se los conoce en inglés, se alzan sobre las costas del Lago Ontario en la parte este de Toronto. Las laderas escarpadas del acantilado es una de las características más singulares de la costa y se alzan unos 90 metros del suelo. Son varios los parques que cubren los 15 kilómetros de los Acantilados de Scarborough que trazan los límites con el lago y si bien la mayoría se encuentra en las cimas, algunos ofrecen senderos angostos por los que podrán llegar a la playa de la base. La vista desde lo alto es absolutamente increíble y son pocos los que pueden negar la belleza de una perspectiva más baja con la cara de roca que se alza sobre las aguas apacibles.
El parque High es una antigua y bellísima reserva natural que cuenta con un estanque, zonas arboladas, senderos, áreas de picnic abiertas y numerosas actividades de ocio para toda la familia. Vengan en familia o con amigos para disfrutar de un gran día de béisbol, natación, patinaje y tenis, entre tantas otras actividades. El parque también ofrece la posibilidad de ver una obra en el teatro al aire libre durante el festival anual Dream in High Park, recorrer el invernadero y visitar el zoológico. A solo un viaje de diez minutos en ferry desde los muelles de Bay Street (al lado del Westin Harbour Castle) hay tres islas, la Center Island, la Ward's Island y la Hanlon's Point, que dejan el ajetreo y el bullicio de la ciudad atrás. Leslie Street Spit is a man-made wilderness that will make it hard for you to believe that you're still in the city. Located in Toronto, Ontario, this headland was built as an outer harbor for ships docking in from the Great Lakes, but it was never used. So it is now used as a recreation spot and features a beautiful hiking and biking trail lined with trees and flowers. The park also presents one with a great bird-watching opportunity as the area is the breeding ground for several species of birds such as the Black-crowned Night-heron and the Caspian tern. Throughout the trail, one can enjoy stunning views of the Toronto skyline at one side and the Lake Superior at the other.

Sourcing from Oak Ridges Moraine, the Don passes through Toronto, Vaughan, Markham and Richmond Hill. With a length of 38 kilometers (24 miles), the river flows into the Keating Channel. The river has trails which are often explored by travelers.
The largest of the Toronto Islands, Centre Island is an ideal recluse to spend quality time.
