Located on Trinity Street, the Enoch Turner School was established in 1848 as Ward School. Commissioned by Enoch Turner, the schoolhouse was built drawing inspiration from the Gothic Revival style of architecture. The brick schoolhouse was built with a mission to arm the poor kids of the neighborhood with education.
The Redpath Sugar Museum presents a collection of memorabilia from the Canadian sugar industry and the Red path family. This unique museum screens films and videos about sugar and the sugar industry. Special guided tours are offered for school children as well.
The Koffler Centre of the Arts is a Jewish institution set up to promote Canadian art. The aim of the arts center is to bring the community closer together using art as a medium. Keeping that in mind the Koffler Centre of the Arts conducts a number of art exhibitions, media exhibits, concerts, theatrical acts and workshops at their advanced facility. This center also organizes various programs for children and gets them organized in dance and music sessions, singing and even drawing. Established in Calgary in the year 1957, the Queen's Own Rifles Regimental Museum was moved to Toronto in 1970. At its new home on the third story of the Gothic Revival style Casa Loma, the museum is a treasure trove of artifacts associated with the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada. The Queen's Own Rifles Regimental Museum is open daily, with the exception of Christmas Day.
