Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority established in 1973 as a waste disposal agency. The agency is active in promoting the importance of recycling and alternative ways of dumping garbage without polluting the environment. The center opened a couple of museums like Trash Museum and Garbage Museum, presenting exhibits on recycling and educational tours are provided for the demonstrations conducted here. Dunkin' Donuts Park is a huge baseball stadium which is home to the Hartford Yard Goats baseball team.
