Fairbanks Ice Museum located inside Lacey Street theater is a one-of-a-kind place where a simple invention such as ice is used to create complex structures, artifacts, sculptures and abstract artwork. The museum periodically invites various ice artists to forge pieces of marvel for their visitors to watch in awe. They have a special area within the museum which is a recreated version of the northern lights, around which large crowds gather to click pictures and selfies with their loved ones.
