Deemed as the crowning glory of the Fine Arts Complex in the University of Alaska Fairbanks, the Charles W. Davis Concert Hall operates as the primary venue for the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra, the Arctic Chamber Orchestra, and also the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival and the Festival of Native Arts. Besides, it also hosts recitals and concerts produced and organized by the university's music department. Equipped with a robust acoustic system, this 1,100-seat concert hall is home to a 66-stop, 42-rank Gress-Miles pipe organ specially designed G.Edgar Gress, the Vice President of the namesake organ company.
