"Historic University Building"
The original university building, the Old Main has been an iconic structure and symbol of the University of Arkansas since its completion in 1875. The building was based on a design by Van Osdel, and was an exact replica of the University Hall of Urbana-Champaign. A landmark building that well represents the architectural style of the 19th century, the building was remodeled and renovated between 1986 to 1991. Of note are the North Tower, Arboretum, Statue of James William Fulbright and the Senior Walk.
