Set along Rajnis utca street in Kőszeg, Jurisics Castle is also known as Kőszeg Castle. The original castle is said to have been built in the 9th century. This old castle was later rebuilt in the late-17th century. Over the centuries this castle was renovated and restored several times. In 2013, this castle was transformed into a museum and was opened for public. Visitors can watch the documentary film here and learn about the history of the castle during the various invasions and world wars.

Nestled in the medieval town of Kőszeg, Kőszegi Városi Múzeum was originally built in the early 17th century. Apart from housing the museum, this old house has been used as a residence by the commander and the equestrian garrison since the early-18th century. The museum showcases various items like tools, utensils, clocks, weaponry, documents, furniture, photographs and a lot more. Located adjacent to the General House is the Tower of Heroes, which was constructed in the year 1932. This tower was built in place of the southern gate which was constructed during the Árpádian period.

Öregtorony tower is a part of the 13th-century city fortifications in Kőszeg. This old tower features a rectangle-shaped floor plan. Spread across three floors, this Gothic-style structure was restored several times over the centuries. It was last renovated in 1965 by the architect, János Sedlmayr. It is presently used to host events like conferences, lectures, exhibitions and more. Here you will find an old grape press that was used to make flavorful wines. A visit to this old tower will surely take you back in time.

The Eszterháza is to Hungary what the Palace of Versailles means to France. An architectural marvel, it is the oldest surviving Rococo styled structures in the country. Today, a rich collection belonging to the Eszterháza family can be explored here. Visitors can tour the 126 rooms of the palace including the grand Banquet Room and the lavish Prince's chambers and have a meal at the various cafes and a restaurant housed here. The large halls of the palace can be rented out for functions such as weddings, meetings, conferences and dinners where you are sure to have a successful event in the historic royal setting.
