Palácio da Luz

Steeped in history, the Palácio da Luz is a local landmark in Fortaleza. This building was the former seat of the Government of the State of Ceará. Built in the 18th Century, it has undergone several refurbishment processes over the years. It is now home to the Academia Cearense de Letras, one of the most prestigious literary institutions in the country. The traditional architecture houses an array of paintings and historical artifacts inside.
