Opened in 1935, the Canton Museum of Art is a museum organized and maintained by the arts community of Canton, Ohio. Initially it was a place for the local artists to meet and discuss and keep exhibitions, but now the museum houses some really amazing art pieces. It also serves a purpose of promoting the local artists and also preserving the art, heritage and culture of the town.
This unique art museum in Alliance is believed to be home to the world's largest troll collection and on display are trolls from the mythological era to modern times. The 45 minute tour of the museum will take you through two floors, six rooms, and a troll cave complete with waterfalls and a troll mountain. They have an extensive gift shop that carries vintage trolls, works of glass and metal art, candles, wind chimes and many more items. Encompassing 260-acre (105.21-hectare) green recreation area, Hudson Springs Park features a 50-acre (20.23-hectare) lake, hiking trail, playground for children, picnic table, open meadow, disc golf, water fountain, clean restrooms, and ample parking space.
