For more than two decades, The Focal Point has been a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the arts. The center features poetry, dance, storytelling, and folk music concerts, and is a great place for artists to perform, learn, and share with each other. On various nights of the week, "Jam" sessions are held where anyone can come and dance, sing, play their instrument, or just watch the artistic energy unfold. The space can be rented for private or public events. Many programs are free and volunteers are always appreciated.
The Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre is one of St. Louis' most popular concert venues from May-October, as it is St. Louis' only outdoor concert venue. The amphitheater is located in Maryland Heights at the center of St. Louis County. It hosts a wide variety of shows from rock and metal to R&B and classics.
