Opened in 1987, Daxing Palace Hall belongs to the PLA (People's Liberation Army); it hosts concerts, festivals and plays throughout the year. The main hall has 1,382 seats (783 downstairs and 599 upstairs). In 1995, it was awarded "Star Theater" of Jiangsu Province.
