Located just outside pretty Thomastown, this picturesque waterfall and glen has all the hallmarks of a secret garden. Virtually unspoilt since the 1790s, the glen features a wealth of 18th-century plants and trees, and covers an area of about 15 acres. Of late, Kilfane has begun to juxtapose natural history with a more contemporary slant, and several visual artists now exhibit their work within the natural environment. Highly recommended.
