Housed in an old Victorian brewery, Smithwick’s Experience Kilkenny offers a one-of-a-kind experience to its patrons. Beginning from the medieval times when St. Francis Abbey began to operate as a brewery, to its evolution to present day Smithwick’s, the tour allows visitors to learn and understand the history of one of Ireland’s oldest beer brands. During the tour, visitors can get ready to be amazed by the presence of life-sized holographic monks as well as enjoy a glimpse of various living portraits of Smithwick's family members.
