Artcliff Diner features a farm to table concept and fresh seasonal cuisine. The restaurant is decorated in a bright, kitschy manner with a relaxed, yet lively vibe. Very popular as a breakfast spot, you may find yourself in a cue as early as 7am. Edgartown Seafood Market is located in the quaint seaside town of Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. Known for selling some of the freshest gifts from the sea in town, the store carries a wide assortment of seafood like lobster, wild salmon, Katama Oysters, little neck clams, and seasonal Bay scallops. A time-honored tradition on the island is a trip to Murdick's candy store. The shop has been selling high-quality fudge and brittle since 1887. To this day, the old fashioned fudge is cooked strictly in copper pots and cooled on a marble table. Try one of the many flavored fudge creations such as Cape Cod Cranberry, Chocolate Walnut or Butter Pecan; the list is extensive. If you cannot decide, this candy shop offers a combination package with three slices of fudge and Cashew Brittle. There are additional candy shops in Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven.
Martha's Vineyard Gourmet Café & Bakery has been a very popular local favorite since it opened in 2001. Apple fritters, cookies, éclairs, pies, cream puffs, and cannoli area made in the bakery’s kitchen, and the wedding cakes are extraordinary. While the baked goods are prepared, between 7:30p and 1a, the bakery’s famous donuts are sold through the back door–hence their name, “back door donuts.”
Larsen’s Fish Market, on Menemsha Beach of Chilmark, MA is a family-owned fish market. The popular market is one is a beloved spot to both locals and tourists, including visiting celebrities.
