Le Centro Musei delle Scienze Naturali e Fisiche appartient à l'Université de Naples. Il a été fondé en 1992 pour étudier et enregistrer cinq subdivisions différentes : la physique, l'anthropologie, la minéralogie, la paléontologie et la zoologie. Le musée lui-même abrite plus de 150 000 expositions collectées uniquement d'ici le début du XIXe siècle, ainsi que d'autres découvertes archéologiques récentes.
