Built as BGSU Ice Arena in 1967, Slater Family Ice Arena got its current name only in the year 2016. Home to the ice hockey and figure skating programs of the Bowling Green State University, this arena has witnessed numerous action-packed matches and tournaments over the years. The home matches of the BGSU Falcons ice hockey team is attended by local hockey fans in large numbers throughout the season. Classes in hockey and figure skating are offered at Slater Family Ice Arena for those interested.
Doyt Perry Stadium opened in 1966 and is the home ground of Bowling Green Falcons. The stadium was named after the famous university coach of Bowling university, Doyt. L. Perry. It has been renovated a number of times, in order to expand its seating and facilitate it with better field ground. Located on the ground of Bowling Green State University, the stadium has modern amenities like, escalators, training rooms for golf, training rooms for athletes, it also facilitates elaborate concession stands for patrons. The stadium has a special VIP seating area reserved for the President and VIP suites for the guests.
