Located along posh Pine Tree Drive in the neighborhood of Miami's Mid-Beach, the Arts at St. John's highlights performance and creativity from all angles. Whether its community theater, music, dance or visual arts, the theater focuses on presenting events that emphasize the diversity of the South Florida community. On any given night, you will have the opportunity to learn about a different culture from around the world. Some of the past programs have included tales from Anatolia, the works of Langston Hughes, programs on the Armenian diaspora and classical music, just to name a few.
JCAT- The J's Cultural Arts Theatre is all about exploring your creative mind. It invites the young population to perform and learn all about drama, acting and various other theatrical segments. It is used as a performance space by different art groups and also used for acting workshops. The center is also open to various camps on acting, wherein students are invited to learn and enact.
Normandy Fountain proudly stands sentinel over the Normandy Isle Monument surrounded by lush well-manicured lawns and shady trees. The fountain forms the backdrop for frequent music concerts and other local events that are hosted in the park. The fountain and park are landmarks in the heart of the Normandy Isles and is the perfect spot to people watch or to just sit back and relax.
