Rising 820 feet above sea- level and standing only 100 feet shorter than the Eiffel Tower, the Cliffs offer a stunning overlook of the Galway Bay, Aran Islands, and the rugged Connemara wilderness. You will also have the chance to see many of the 30,000 bird colonies nesting along the Cliffs and explore cliffside trails. You will have plenty of time to enjoy all the Cliffs have to offer with this one hour and thirty minute stop – the perfect amount of time based upon years of guest feedback.Duration: 1 hour 30 minutesPass By: Dublin, Dublin, County DublinOn our journey back to Dublin we will take a comfort stop where you can stretch your legs or grab a snack before our final trek. We will get you back to Dublin for approximately 19:30, with plenty of time to enjoy the evening. This is a lovely walk, the landscape changes as you move and each angle is more stunning than the next. You will certainly take lovely photos here! Included in the price is the entrance to the cliffs as well as an interactive video in the visitor’s center.After exploring the cliffs, you will have worked up an appetite, so we will stop for lunch at the delightful village of Doolin. Well-known for its traditional Irish music, Doolin is located near Lisdoonvarna, famous for its matchmaking festival. Enjoy lunch here before boarding the bus again for further adventure. There are a couple of nice restaurants to choose from both of which are perched on top of the Cliffs looking out over the atlantic ocean. Beautiful scenery along the Cliff top with abundant wildlife. Your tour guide will offer lots of information as to where to go and what to visit along the walk. Some of the best locations from where to take the best photos dependant on the seasonal changes to the sunlight. On your visit to the Cliffs of Moher you can relax in the knowledge that you will benefit from a full two hours at the site, that's 30 minutes longer than any other day tour from Dublin. Here there is a photo opportunity before continuing onto Galway City. During this part of the tour your guide will entertain you will local music from the region, stories of folklore, history art and culture. Your tour guide offers all passengers a complimentary walking tour of the Galway which typically takes 30 to 40 minutes. Visiting places such as Spanish Arch and Lynch's Castle the walking tour is a very popular addition to the itinerary particularly as the centre of Galway is pedestrianised. The walking tour is optional, many passengers prefer to spend their time in Galway at their own discretion.The place has a wonderful musical and vibrant reputation. Lots of craft shops, small family stores and numerous little artizan cafes. Why not enjoy local fish and chips at a local food venue fresh from the Atlantic. Your guide is there to direct and help with any advise that is asked. Overnighting in Galway is possible. Depending upon availability a free return seat to Dublin can be requested for another day.
