Our private tour visits four unique ancient Scottish castles. On this tour you will visit Drummond Castle & Gardens , Stirling Castle , Doune Castle and Blackness Castle . Small group tour. Drummond Castle Gardens were the French royal Palace of Versailles in TV drama Outlander. The formal gardens are listed as a Category A listed building , one of Scotland's hidden treasures . Stirling Castle is one of Scotland’s most impressive castles due to its imposing position overlooking the Forth Valley and its impressive Renaissance architecture designed by the Stewart kings of Scotland Blackness Castle featured in Outlander and the Outlaw King. Doune Castle was Castle Leoch , home of Colum Mackenzie in Outlander Blood of my Blood and a favourite place for Mary Queen of Scots. Doune was Winterfell in Game of Thrones
