Identifiable by its timber facade, Schüttesägemuseum in Schiltach is a museum that narrates the history of timber rafting, tanning and forestry in the town. The museum has on display work clothing, documents, photographs and the different types of equipment that were used by the workers of the town.
Found close to the center of Schiltach, Hansgrohe Aquademie is the place where visitors learn about innovations in bathroom and kitchen fittings. By walking through this space, one learns about a modern bathroom and kitchen.
Across from Buchenberg's village church, this local museum is housed within the erstwhile town hall, where it displays rich exhibits and artifacts from the town's past. The theme majorly revolves around historical crafts that were prevalent at the time, from weaving and pottery, to glass-blowing, watchmaking and more. Among its more notable exhibits are artworks of native artist Otto Leiber and 17th-century chalices.
