Cape Maeda

This little strip of land jutting out into the azure waters is one of the most picturesque sights in Onna. The area round Cape Maeda is a popular diving spot in the region and attracts adventure enthusiasts. Reef Encounters

Though their headquarters are in Chatan Village in Central Okinawa, Reef Encounters operates marine excursions all over Okinawa prefecture, from the northern tip of the island at Cape Hedo all the way down to Yongauni Island in the Yaeyama Region. Both experienced and novice divers can choose between snorkeling, diving and fishing, and can even become certified scuba divers. Jumbo Tours

Jumbo Tours offers all-inclusive guided tours of Okinawa's most famous attractions, but also operates daily tours out to famous dive spots around the Kerama Islands for certified divers and beginners. Children who might be too young to dive can go snorkeling. The head office is in Naha City, but they've recently opened a branch in Chatan Town as well. Diving packages include transportation from your hotel to the diving site and full rental gear.

Blue Cave

The Blue Cave is a famous tourist spot in Okinawa. Tourists go to the cave by scuba diving and snorkeling. Various tourist guides, conduct tours to the blue cave also known as the “Miraculous Cave”. The Blue Cave is a different world altogether, beautiful blue waters, lively fishes and colorful corals. The world under water at Blue Cave is like a fairy tale in front of the eyes. Tourist between the ages 10-60 will good health conditions are only allowed, kids below the age 10 years require parental consent. A great experience in Okinawa, the Blue Cave is worth seeing.

Ginowan Seaside Park

This one-of-a-kind, multi-purpose park in Ginowan makes for an excellent outing for the whole family. With the cerulean waters of the ocean bordering the park, one can indulge in as much relaxation as they want, or live it up with a ton of outdoor activities. The park has trails for running and strolling, besides also having an expansive playground where your little ones can frolic around. Monkey bars, swings and slides add to the fun.

Okinawa World

Cultural Kingdom, the Gyokusendo Caves and Habu Park comprise Okinawa World, where people can learn about traditional Ryukyuan arts and crafts in the reconstructed Ryukyu village, watch snakes slither in Habu Park, and then take a five-kilometer (3-mile) walk under the massive stalactites in Gyokusendo Caves, the largest cave in Okinawa. Visitors can choose to only enter specific exhibits for a lower ticket price. The park closes half an hour earlier from November to March.
